Synopsis
~May 21st, 1864~
Tsune in Edo, receives a letter from Isami.....he tells her about everything that has happened. And that now, the group has a new name, Shinsengumi. He has also become the only commander in Shinsengumi, with Yamanami as souchou and Hijikata as fukuchou. And Yamanami handed over the financial matters to Kawai.

Hijikata, Saitou and other 2 Shinsengumi members in Shinsengumi uniforms bumps into Hikojiro Uchiyama, Osaka Magistrate’s Office Head....
Then, it is showed Uchiyama expresses discomfort over Shinsengumi’s activities.

At another time, Inoue, Hijikata and Yamanami are selecting new members for Shinsengumi. An interesting man came, his name is Takeda Kanryuusai.
Another one, also came Susumu Yamazaki. He said, his ability in memorizing people's faces and names can be useful for Shinsengumi. Hijikata said something, which responded, "You also said that the last time, Hijikata-sensei....".
"Have you came before?" Yamanami ask. "Yes...I have come here 3 times, Yamanami-sensei....". They're all surprised. "And you are Inoue-sensei, also in charge of the registering, the last time I came here,".
The fact that they cannot remember him at all, made them realize they need this man...so he is accepted as a new member.

The Tani brothers also joins Shinsengumi. There are 3 of them, and the eldest one have the weirdest laugh....Isami looked actually shocked hearing that annoying and irritating laugh ^_^;;

Apparently, Okita and Hide has developed a new relationship....they have grown closer by days. "Hai, doozo!" Hide serve onigiri to Okita. Okita eats it, there crummies left on his cheeks. Hide giggles and take it off with her finger and tell Okita to eat it from her finger....Okita looks away, embarrassed. Hide keep giggling, "Its alright, come on...aaa..". Then, Okita do so. Toudou see them smiling, then he also put crummies on his face. Then turns to Hide...but Hide just smile to Toudou. Toudou looked sad ^_^;;

At another time, Isami is hanging out at Sakamoto's place(I assume Tosa clan's place). He is chatting with Sakamoto together with his other two friends. When suddenly, a pretty young lady comes out from inside, "Sumimaseeeeen! The foods are ready," (note: they are chatting a bit far from the house)

Sakamoto: Hey, who's that??
Sakamoto's friend: You dont know? She'll be our servant since today... Hey, introduce yourself!
Oryou: I'm Oryou....
Sakamoto: (seems really taken with her beauty) ahhh....Oryou kaa.... I'm-I'm Sakamoto Ryouma!
Sakamoto's friend: (to Oryou) You better becareful with this guy! He likes to go out with different women!
Sakamoto is asking her, how to write her name...turns out, the "Ryou" in both their names are the same kanji. Sakamoto said funny things, which makes Oryou laughs.
Meanwhile, Isami just sighed, watching the whole thing^^

Isami meets Shozan Sakuma (of the Kurofune Black Ship) once again. But, just like the last time, Shozan cannot remember who he is.
However, they had a talk in a food shop, anyway. And it seems, Shozan has remembered him a bit, "You were so young when I first met you, I believe....and now you're a Shinsengumi-kyokuchou kaa....". Isami ask him about alot of things, when suddenly there's a screaming from the kitchen.

"You steal the foods again!! Dont you have any shame?!?" Masa yelled out. "But, I'm hungry....and I have no money..." turns out, its Sutesuke.....he runs and take shelter behind Isami's back.
"Would you PLEASE just go back to Tama?" Isami said. "No!! I wont! I want to be someone here...that's why I go to Kyoto! How come you can never understand me? I will not go home, even if I have to die here!". "Where are you going?" Isami asked. "Got nothing to do with Kat-chan!" Sutesuke is upset.
"Wait a minute...if you dont have a job....why dont you work for me?" Shozan said. Isami is surprised. Since then, Sutesuke becomes Shozan Sakuma's attendant.

Its sunset, Okita and Hide are seating on top of temple's stairs alone.....just the two of 'em....
Hide: There's something I've always think about......
Okita: What is it?
Hide: Do you know that Serizawa-san is gonna be killed that time? Are you involved?
Okita: *hesitates*....
Hide: Please, tell me the truth.....
Okita: No way....that time, it was just a premonition! I sense these things...
Hide: Premonition?
Okita: ahh, come on....! Kondou-sensei will be mad, if we play around this late... its another premonition...*smiles*....
(Okita walking down the stairs. Hide watches her, and smile. Then follows him)

Meanwhile, Isami and Hijikata denounce Uchiyama face to face on Uchiyama’s dubious conduct that was detected by Yamazaki. Uchiyama strikes back by arresting Saitou and having him tortured.

The situation has come to such extent that Hijikata suggest Isami that they have to remove Uchiyama by force. Isami, like always, takes awhile to consider this, but then he agreed and he insist that this time he will be involved. Hijikata says no. "Why?? Why wont you let me be a part of all the assasination plans??". "Coz that's what kyokuchou is...you just wait here, we'll get this done by no time," Hijikata leaves.
He brings along Okita, Saitou, Harada and Shimada Kai to assassinate Uchiyama at Tenmanbashi in Osaka.

Meanwhile, Isami goes to Miyuki Dayuu's place. His face is all concerned and in stress. Miyuki sees this and feels the tension, so she gets up and starts the traditional dancing.

Hijikata-tachi are in their each positions waiting for Uchiyama to pass by the bridge. Hijikata with Okita, Harada with Shimada and Saitou is at another place alone.

Miyuki Dayuu is still dancing.....Isami is watching her, but it seems his minds is somewhere else.....

Uchiyama is inside a sedan, lifted by a group of men...they are walking by the bridge. And this is when, Saitou starts to attack and so are Harada and Shimada. Hijikata holds Okita and with head signs telling him, its not time for them yet....
Saitou, Shimada and Harada are fiercely fighting the rounin-s......
Uchiyama comes out from his sedan, which is placed quite far from the fighting place. He is about to walk away, when he suddenly realized that Hijikata and Okita are behind him, watching him.... So Uchiyama pulls off his sword.....

The music tunes becomes faster and so does Miyuki Dayuu's moves...it gets faster and faster....

The tension at Tenmanbashi is increasing.....Hijikata holds Okita's hand which is gripping his sword, as if asking, are you ready? Okita just nod. Then he pulls off his sword. He strikes Uchiyama's arm....Uchiyama panicked, so he just throw his sword to Okita...and it missed...Uchiyama falls. Okita aim his sword directly to Uchiyama already....but little did he know....Uchiyama is actually more sly than they thought. He pulls off a little Western gun and aim it directly to Okita. Everyone are holding their breath....coz they are all standing in front of Uchiyama......there is no way, they can fight a bullet....

Isami is watching Miyuki Dayuu who is dancing with flowing moves, but still getting faster....from one position to another position continuously.... The music is still at its fast pace.... Isami's face shows that he just realized something and kinda shocked....or he may sense something....

When Uchiyama starts to pull the trigger.....suddenly, Saitou from behind runs and stab him with his sword. Uchiyama shot the sky....then....falls to the ground.... Escaping from danger, Hijikata-tachi....esp. Okita, looks very relieved....

The music starts getting slower....and so does Miyuki Dayuu's moves..... When the music stops....suddenly, she collapse.... Isami immediately rush to her and hold her, "Are you alright?". Miyuki answered weakly, "I'm sorry...I'm just a little tired,". Isami caress her face, Miyuki is a bit surprised, then Isami said to Inoue, "She has a fever,". "I'll call a doctor!" Inoue rush outside. Miyuki and Isami gaze at each other, while he still holds her, so their faces are very close. She smiles, then close her eyes.

In the morning, Isami just finished writing a letter and the doctor tells Isami, that Miyuki Dayuu is already up. He meets her outside.
Isami: Are you feeling better?
Miyuki: Yes, no need to worry....I was just too tired...
Isami: Ah, if you will...please, take this...just in case...(he gives her a medicine)...
Miyuki: (looks happy) Thank you so much........I'm really flattered that Kondou-sensei is this worried about me...I'm sorry, to trouble you....
Isami: ah, no... oh, right...actually I just wrote a letter to Edo...
Miyuki: Do you want me to mail it?
Isami: Onegaishimasu....(please)
Miyuki: (smile and nods, then she put the letter inside her kimono) Is it for your wife?
Isami: *startled*.....yes...
Miyuki: What's her name?
Isami: Tsune...
Miyuki: (smiling) Tsune-san is very lucky to have a husband like you....
Isami: ah, no, not at all....

In Edo....Tsune is finishing reading the letter....she's very happy and smiling. She starts folding the letter again, when suddenly she smells something....she smells the letter....then her face looks unhappy....

Now that, Tsune smelled Miyuki Dayuu's perfume from the letter...I guess, the 2 ladies have found out about each other x)

Loooove this episode!!! Can you tell?? Love the episode that much, that actually urge me to write the synopsis...while I actually have skipped writing synopsis for 7 episodes!! xD

I dont know....I like the way Isami narrated on what has happened for the past 7 months....they just showed their daily lifes...and what's new with them....looks really normal...^_^

And as romance is my favorite part of the serial....and it just gets less and less in the 2nd season. Makes me really happy coz I get to see 3 romance scenes in this episode...Okita-Hide, Sakamoto-Oryou and Isami-Miyuki!!^^ Ha!
And really glad, Tsune showed up again! She is one of my favorite character! Kinda miss her!^^

*LOL* Oh my god!! You gotta hear Tani eldest brother laugh!! Its so weird! hahaha! Very annoying! And Isami's shock expression upon hearing his laugh.....cracked me up even more!!^o^

Gosh! The ending scenes are PERFECT! I love the way they done this one! They combine the assasination plan and Miyuki Dayuu dancing scenes....the music which accompany Miyuki's dancing, which automatically also as the assasination plan's background music blends in perfectly!!b^_^d The way the increasing speed of the music and Miyuki's moves depicts the increasing tension at Tenmanbashi...is also perfect! And what a perfect assasination team!! They are all my favorite characters! Hijikata, Okita, Saitou, Harada....if only they take off Shimada, and throw in Isami....it would be even more perfect!!^o^
Love Okita's expression in the fight and when its all over! Oh, and now that Saitou shaved his beard....he looked just more handsome than ever!!^^ Hmm....I wonder, I never get to see Hijikata actually fight, y'know.....he always be the one who commands...but never make a move himself....?_?

Oh, just so you know...Isami is not half-bald anymore...he has hair all over his head, like the one in the 1st ep's Ikedaya Jiken^^ Looks kinda weird...im not used to it yet x) But i guess, now that he's the only kyokuchou....he has grown to be more firm... Just one question....what's with the shock expression while he was watching Miyuki Dayuu? What? What? I'm dead curious here!!>_<
